Anyone on Evista?

I was on it years ago for a few years to stop bone loss.  Is it interchangable with Tomoxifen?

    My primary care doctor tried to RX Evista for me when I refused an Aromatese Inhibitor or Tamoxifen.  So I know some do believe it has some benefit for bc prevention.  But this is what their own info' says:  "...Raloxifene cannot be used to treat invasive breast cancer or to prevent invasive breast cancer from coming back in women who have already had the condition. Raloxifene also cannot be used to decrease the risk of developing non-invasive breast cancer...."  

    So it's not the same as Tamoxifen, but I think has some observed (not sure if it's been proven) positive effect on bc, but perhaps DCIS, rather than invasive bc.    Deanna
