ER+ ... soy free-eggs

As someone who is ER+, I'm one who is avoiding soy as much as possible.  Mostly vegetarian, except fish (which I guess makes me pescatarian).  No dairy, but I do eat the occasional egg.

Starting thinking that since there is such a predominance of soy in everything these days, what is in the feed that hens are eating?  Lo & behold, even most organic free range hens are given feed that contains soy. I haven't figured out how much soy, and how much of that ends up in the egg.  What I have found out is that there are eggs from hens that have not been fed soy.  Whole Foods has them (Chino Valley & Vital Farms brands), as does a small local natural food chain here in soCal.  Waiting for an email response from Trader Joes (like their prices better), but the manager at the local store doesn't think their eggs are soy-free.  I'd have to agree, since they'd probably labeled as such if they were.  Thought this could be of interest to others who are ER+
