I have been stage I NED since dx and tx 10 years ago so I don't claim to "know" what it is like to be metastatic or recurrent.

I don't understand the intense need to control other people's free choice of treatment, whatever it might be. I don't feel threatened by the choices or reasons others have, even if 99.9% would choose something I wouldn't choose. Sharing my impressions is different from trying to convince others. Convincing others to do what I do or to share what I believe is not the goal. If people choose a particular treatment for reasons that I don't agree with, asking polite questions or providing fact politely for consideration is about as far as it needs to go.
