Found another DCIS'er at my pharmacy

My favorite pharm. tech. had a horrible limp and contraption on her knee. I felt so bad watching her gimp around the pharmacy and told her so. She told me she needed a knee replacement and we got to talking (I will be needing an ankle replacement in the future). Then I told her about my DCIS and low and behold, she had DCIS. The first time she had a lump + rads, last year she got it back again and got a BMX.  This is not to scare anyone because although there are all those studies and genetic tests, we really don't know when or if we would ever get it again. But for me, and just me, I know I made the right decision to get a BMX for my DCIS. I had so much DCIS and ADH scattered throughout the milk ducts, I can nod my head and think, I made the right choice. It's a very calming feeling.
