Breast cancer and lung tumors

My beloved pastor is currently on a respirator in hospital.She has breast cancer and also 90% of her lungs have tumors.I have never known anyone who is suffering with this scary situation. She is a healthy woman otherwise. I have read very depressing things about the spread of breast cancer. If she is on a respirator-can she begin treatment? Her family has been devastated-and are keeping very quiet. We are beginning prayer vigils for her. I am so heartbroken. I would appreciate your sharing with me. I love her so much. Thank you.
