Mortgage Disability Insurance

Has anyone tried to get this since diagnosis?  I have a couple of questions... what are the "couple" of health questions that they ask, and about what are the cost of the premiums... like is it about $3.00 per $100/mo payment?  Has anyone been able to do it?

We are in the process of getting a mortgage,my husband can get the insurance,but I can't.This company specifically asks about cancer and the woman at the bank said for me to not even bother applying.I think it is $28 a month and our payment will be about $365.

We just refinanced and would like to gt that insurance too. I figured I am a no go but wonder if they'll kick my husband to the curb based on heart disease. Bypass 12 years ago, small heart attack recently. Just have to try I guess.
