Surrogacy

Hello. Has anyone gone through the surrogacy process? I am 41 yrs old and will be going through surgery and chemo within the next month. I'm considering to do embryo preservation and plan for a surrogate while going through treatment. Why am I contemplating surrogcay? Because I realized that it will take 2012 to get me through surgery and chemo (may be radiation, don't know yet) and then from 2013 to 2017 to get thru tamoxifen. I would be 46 yrs old before I could conceive again.  Or I get off the tamoxifen early, but don't want to risk my health.

So, I'd like to see if anyone has gone through the surrogacy route while going through treatment? I worry that I may need to focus on the chemo and getting better from that b/c it is tiring, stressful, etc.
