I am wondering if a breast MRI can also show mets in the upper body? Thanks, October

I apologize if I posted in the wrong area. I thought this would be ok because I am having breast MRI monitoring because of very dense breasts, which insurance approved due to high risk. I posted the question in stage 3 also, maybe a better choice. Sorry. October

october- i think an mri might show only soft tissue irregularities.

Yes, it would.  The only thing that hides from an MRI are calcifications, the earliest form of BC.
