buddy with TN, any good reccs of dr

Any good drs. for TN anyone can reccomend in this area?  Any holistic nutritionists?

Hi, Annie.

I've had TNBC twice now -- once in 2002 and then a new one in 2011.  Both times I was treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in NYC by the same doctors.  My breast surgeon is Alexandra Heerdt and I can't say enough good things about her.  My oncologist doesn't specialize in TN but he too is terrific.  If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't do a thing differently.  They are an incredible team -- smart, caring and up-to-date on all the latest treatments and surgeries.  I know that TN cab be a scary diagnosis but many women on these boards are living long and healthy lives following treatment for it.  Good luck to your friend (she's lucky to have such a good friend in you).

Anniealso, I also had surgery at Sloan Kettering and am followed by an Oncologist there. There is a TN specialist at MSK, but I think the Oncs work as a team so I'm not sure that a TN specialist is necessary.  I've been pleased with the level of care at MSK.
