Need advice please

Hi does anybody know if discomfort in between the ribs occuring mostly at night or after a meal is something to worry about? Im asking for my mum who had breast cancer 3 years ago, she is saying she feels some discomfort, feels gasy and is experiencing heart burn in the central area just below the breasts between the ribs. So i was just wondering if this is significant symptons to get checked? Oh and she also was told she had a small kidney stone on her last scan which was 6 months ago..

    Hi Sarah,

    I haven't had those symptoms, but if it's something that comes and goes it's most likely nothing.  That said, my rule of thumb has been if I have any lingering pain for over 2 weeks I go to see the doc.

    Could be her gallbladder, too. Google it and she if it fits her symptoms. Also, she must mention it to her PCP!
