Nipple Pain after skin/nipple saving MX

Hi everyone. I am thankful. Is anyone out there taking Arimidex or Letrozole after nipple/skin saving mastectomy with immediate reconstruction?  I  was dianosed with DCIS Nov 2010.  Had lumpectomy Dec 7th, an invasive tumor was found.  Had right side mastectomy using nipple/skin saving technique and then immediate reconstruction and a lift on the left breast. Nodes were negative.  Tumor was estrogen positive so I am taking an anti estrogen drug for 5 years...or trying.  The first one..Arimidex caused severe depression, pain in all my joints, hot flashes, bone pain...so they took me off of it. I can't take Tamoxifen because I have had DVT.  I am now on Letrozole and the joint pain is better, depression is not an issue, hot flashes are milder BUT  I am having pain in my nipple...very sensitive. in the reconstructed breast. Does anyone have any experience with this?  May 6th will be a year since my last surgery for this breast cancer.I struggle daily with myself about taking this drug for 5 years. I am told my risk of reoccurance is <5% over 5 years but I do not feel like myself...everyday I do not feel like myself.  Thanks for listening and your responses!
