I should stop googling, right? Not yet diagnosed.

Hi.  I am not yet diagnosed with IBC.  I do have a strange rash directly above my breast, and I see a bit of a rash inside the right breast.  It is not dark or raised, but I have a sinking feeling about this.  I saw a surgeon on Friday, who said "Rebecca, this is nothing to get ourselves worked up about, this is your tan line from last year."  However, I do not think that my anxiety is so great that I just looked at an old tan line and decided it was IBC.  That would be a bit over the top.  Soooo, I now have an apt. with my regular family doctor, in hopes that they will give me an MRI as the breast surgeon wrote me off as a nervous nelly.  However, the stats I come across on these websites I am googling are terrifying, and I am wondering if anyone has a site they recommend that will give reliable info on IBC while I wait.  I thank you.
