Page drop-down browse feature

Any possibility that the site can have a page drop-down feature (instead of scrolling through pages) when looking at individual topics? At present, it appears as though you can go to Next, Last, and then have to keep going forward and back to access many page threads. This would be particularly useful for very large, many-page threads that you'd like to go to specific pages. Thank you!

We know how frustrating it can be to scroll through pages, especially of long threads.  We like the idea, but have to ask the tech team how difficult (i.e. costly) it would be.  We keep an on going wish list and we will add this to it!

There is an easy work-around to jump ahead or back to a specific page in the big threads.

Take the "Taxotere/Cytoxan - December 2011" thread in the Chemotherapy forum, currently at 50 pages. The URL for the last page is  http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/69/topic/778222?page=50 and if you wanted to go back 15 pages, you'd just change the 50 at the end of the URL in your address bar to 35, refresh, and you'd be at page 35.

    Hope this helps!

I'd like to second this request. I'm a member of Ravelry.com (total knitting addict), and they have a feature that let's you input what page you'd like, and a "hop" feature.

Thanks for all your hard work at making this site to easy to navigate!
