    I wish...We will be at Fire Keepers Casino from around 7pm-12midnight..Its 4 hours

    I know Toledo is less than an hour from where we are...Cincinnati might be another 1 hour?

    Maybe even closer to Jackson to.

    I'm a bit further than 2 or 3 hours.  If it were going to be a weekend thing it would have been worth it to go but for a few hours friday night I will have to pass on this one.  I love finding gatherings to go to!  It's fun to get out, meet others and just have a blast.  Oh well, maybe another time for me.  Thanks!

    May 5, 2012 6pm,  We are Meeting in the Jackson Mi parking lot at Meijer's. The one on Michigan ave. Arriving back around 11 pm.

    LuAnnH is it possible that some of us travelling further could make a weekend out of it?  I'm in Crete, IL and it would be about a 3 hour ride for me as well, but I'm sure if we could find a hotel and keep things priced reasonable we could have a great time.  Let me know what you think cuz I'd be game!

    I used to live in Farmington Hills - now Phoenix area - so your post caught my attention.  Good for you to plan a fun outting!!!  I love casinos and within a reasonable drive to Nevada and lots of Indian casinos here in AZ I go regularly.....completely takes my mind off cancer!  I ALWAYS wear latex-type gloves so I don't have to touch machines etc. there and always have a couple of masks in my purse and armed with those I have a great day!....greater, of course, if I win!!  Good luck.  And bravo just for posting about fun stuff!!!!!

    I LOVE Vegas, who is going to plan that one?  I'll be there!!!

    As for a weekend, if someone local could call around for some pricing, maybe mention we are having a gathering someone might offer discounts????  Just a thought.

    How many people can do a weekend? May  5th and 6th...sat-sun.  Stephanie's 33rd B-day is the 6th of May,then I can make a reservation for rooms.

    I'm working on it.  My sister lives in the Grand Rapids area and I could stay with her.  Would it be okay to bring her with me?  I get lost everywhere I go! lol.  I will check with her, see if she's free that weekend. I will get back with you. :)

    Grand Rapids is about 1 1/2 hr away from Brighton (where i am), then about another 45 min to Jackson, Or just meet us at the casino in Battle Creek. Fire Keepers.

    I'm confused, are there rooms reserved and what is the price?  How far is this from the casino?  What other plans will there be for weekend activities?  I know alot of questions for something that wasn't quite planned LOL

    The night is covered..no need to wory.

    The casino is 10 min away, there is a mall, a zoo, and other stuff around.  There isnt any thing planned other than the casino event from 7-11 pm saturday night. But if a few of you wanted to come out Im sure we can come up with something. Right now there is two rooms for those that wanted a weekend.

    If it doesent work out, then we can cancel the reservation anytime at no cost.

    You might want to google battle creek in michigan and see whats around, its pretty nice!

    I think this post got lost.  I am not sure if I can make this weekend or not.  I just found out that I need to make a trip to PA in the very immediate future so I'm not sure if I can still get to MI also.
