Nipple discharge following radiation

Options

I completed 29 sessions of radiation in November last year. I have large boobs and had issues with under my boob -  the poor thing was red raw, peeled, blistered and gave me terrible pain. My 29th session was on a Monday and when they took a look at my poor boob after me trying to care for the burns during the weekend, they said that would do and gave me the last day off. It took quite a few weeks to heal.

Now, 3 months later, my boob is discoloured, has an ezcema type rash on it (but I'm prone to ezcema on my arms / legs), has scaring from the blisters and my nipple has some discharge. Not the type of discharge when you squeeze the nipple and it comes out - it doesn't seem to do that - but there is constantly a 'crust' of smelly yellow stuff around the middle of my nipple.

Are these side effects post radiation normal?   Has anyone else experienced them?

I had 18 sessions of radiation, and while the general after-effects for the breast as a whole weren't too bad - red speckling, some on-and-off stinging nerve-ending issues, and now drying and flaking skin -- the nipple is another matter.  It got beet-red, very very sore (to be expected in the 2 weeks following, I'm told), but also exuded some kind of clear discharge that dries to a yellow scab-like crust on the very tip of the nipple and to some extend down on the sides.

Concerned it might mean some kind of infection, I had it looked at by the radiation oncologist, who swears it's healing fine and this, while unusual, is not an infection. But it's still disturbing.
