Hi Lollypop59:  I'm so sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with lung mets.  I can't offer any advice but I do hope the treatment works well for  you - keep strong and kick butt.

I also have IBC and lung mets.  I just started treatment for a second occurrence of the mets in my lung lymhs.  I am also TN so my options are limited.  My initial tx was with TC which gave me about a year of NED.  The first recurrence was tx with Xeloda (oral) and Ixebepilone  and I went into remission for 6 months.  My PET scan last month was clear except for fluid on the right lung which had cancer cells in it!  I just started Eribulin (Halaven) last Friday.  Hope your combination is a winner for you!

Hi Lorraine:  Glad to hear that the CT scan shows shrinkage and you are doing well and tolerating the Taxol chemo.  Too bad you had to stop Herceptin again.  There is an internet site called bcmets.org for people who are dealing with metastatic breast cancer.  It is a very active list and lots of good advice.  You may be interested.

Best wishes to you, keep strong.  Kathy m, Toronto
