I am 36 with dense breasts. and family history of BC.  Have a lump in left breast, cannot be seen on MAMMO/US/MRI. Have been having breast pain/armpit pain and arm pain for the past 3 months. I want to know if anyone that has been diagnosed had a similar situation.

Thank you for replying and be blessed.

    Hi Kelly

Yes I am sorry to say that I was dx with idc that did not show o. Three ultrasounds, a mammo and MRI. However what my bs saw was change from my baseline mammo and MRI showed some blood flow to the area that you palpate. However I know that my situation really stumped the radiologists etc.

    I had extremely dense breasts.

However with that said the biopsy will give you the answer. I know it's hard to wait and it si scary too. Many times lumps etc are benign and the good thing is that you are getting it checked out. > good luck to you and hang in there

    luckypenny,

Thank you for replying. I just had appointment with surgeon and she suggested the lump is just dense breast tissue and did not recommend biopsy. She could not explain the armpit or arm pain and suggested it may be a nerve issue. I am sorry to hear that you have been DX and wish you the best of luck. Thank you for your time and sharing.
