Pain in nonBC breast??

Options

Anyone experience pain in their nonBC breast?  I've been having alot of pain - mainly in the nipple area of my right breast, never have had any issues before.  Never had pain in the left breast (BC breast) so I'm not overly concerned but seems strange.

I've had pain in both. I had a mastectomy on the right and a reduction on the left. My last surgery was ~1 1/2 years ago. My breast surgeon says the pain is likely from nerves. I've had a normal mammogram, and have my annual MRI tomorrow. I'm sure he's right, and it's nothing. Any pain, though, automatically has me going to the dark side. I think it's part of the new normal.

I hope you get some relief soon.

I meet with my Rad Onc tomorrow and will ask her about it.  I've had nothing done to the right side so I'm not sure why the pain.  It's sad that our new normal is to automatically go to the bad :(

I hear ya. I think this reaction is perfectly normal. FWIW, it tends to be calm down over time, at least it did in my case. I no long think that every weird feeling in my calf is a tamoxifen-induced blood clot. ;) Good luck w/ your appt!

Hi Kayce, I have been getting pain in my ok breast since about last April, when i finished TE fills. Ive had loads of tests to rule out more bc. My surgeon thought it could be to do with all the stretching etc the TE is causing, or possibly hormonal.

Am still freaking out a little though, and getting a second opinion tomorrow!

Hope your meeting went ok and you got some answers xxx
