providing support to your partner

I was with my partner as she heard the official diagnosis. A moment seared in my memory forever. I found it to be overwhelming in many ways. As you sift through all the available information it too becomes too much, too fast. All out of necessity. I am but a human trying hard to provide all the supports that my partner and I both need. I am hoping my partner will reach out, maybe even this site...and connect with the supports that I think will help and stregthen her. I know that I am travelling an uncharted path for me and that I need support and wisdom to empower myself and my partner for the roads ahead. This site has helped me this far and now I take one more step reaching in to your community. I thank you in advance.

Sometimes at first it is just so hard to digest the initial diagnosis. You being here just shows how much you love your partner!
