I have Sjogren's but I was official dx while on a Chemo Break, and I am Triple Negative IDC. I am still off Chemo and I am having a time trying to keep the flares under control, the biggest thing is not to rest (sit) too long, Its hard but the more exercsie or moving around the better.

I have Sjogrens and fibromyalgia. During chemo I had severe dry mouth, but most of my problems were with my eyes. I had chemo tears for 3 months and then I started getting flashes of light. I now have problems with pain because of the Arimidex. I just stay positive and thankful there are better cures now.

mary, the dr. suggested that my dysphagia, and the dry eyes, no saliva and down there may be sjorgens, so he wants me to see the rhuemo.

3jaysmom - Good luck with figuring all that out. My eyes are finally doing better. Also I had Graves Disease many years ago, thyroid was destroyed by radioiodine, so I am hypothyroid as well - controlled by medication. Seems like somehow it's all connected, doesn't it? The best help for me was when I retired in June of 2011 but right before my last day I found out I had BC.
This last year has been a journey and a blessing to meet so many wonderful people. It is hard to keep all the pain and stiffness under control, but we just take one day at a time.
