Anybody with my diagnoses doing well?
Does anybody on the forums here have my similar diagnoses? Just curious, as I am not seeing it too often. Just needing moral support

I am pretty close to your diagnosis. I am doing well after bilateral mastectomy almost 3 years ago and bilateral DIEP last year. Let me know if you need anything at all. Hugs, Dawn

I too am close to your diagnosis although my type is rare, Invasive Lobular. I am two year survivor today!!!! I also had a bilateral mastectomy with a DIEP, 16 chemos and 33 radiations and I'm doing really well.
If you need some additional words of encouragement, I would head over to the 3 years survivors boards etc and you'll find many with your diagnosis. Also would also recommend a book entitled, There's No Place Like Hope. It got me through some dark times and is now highlighted in 4 different colors of highlighter....it's a must. Hang in there and don't hesitate to reach out whenever you need words of encouragement.

Thank you Hearher and blondie!

I would say we are close, but I am not Er+. I was slightly Pr+ but it was soo little that they consider it negative. But I had multifocal tumors, and Her2+, had a tumor roughly the same size as yours (well the largest one), extensive DCIS and four positive nodes. I realize I am not really all that far out here. Had Mastectomy, TCH and 33 rads, no Reconstruction. I am also a grade II due to a low mitonic score (1, the rest were 3) Welcome!

Hi there,
I'm kind of close. I was diagnosed about in Nov 2010, had BMX, chemo, rads. Now doing Herceptin. Just had my exchange. My scans in December were clear - wahoo! Hang in there - you can do this!

Hi Sissydi,
I' m quite close to your dx too ! It's early stage still!
Best wishes and take care!

I'm close as well. Same Er/Pr Her2 status but no nodes.
Did my surgery/chemo/rads/Herceptin and am doing great. it's 3 years since dx this month and it is definitely starting to feel like a bad dream that I had a long time ago - fading for sure. Any questions, feel free to PM me.
Also if you are on the TCH chemo regimen, please feel free to come visit our TCH thread. It is a very active thread and lots of good advice for women going through the "TCH" portion or just the Herceptin portion. You're more than welcome!

I'll be three years out in April and there is light at the end of the tunnel (and, no, it's not an oncoming train!) Hang in there (((hugs)))

There really aren't many with this diagnosis, are there? I have the same, I think! I didn't get an official stage because my tumor was "too big for surgery" and I did chemo first, but my nodes were matted so from what I saw that made me stage IIIa. I had one node confirmed cancerous by biopsy, and three more that were notably enlarged in the ultrasound, so I'm sure I had more involved. I had my UMX on Oct 5, and will get path report tomorrow.
