Lump on implant-need ultrasound-talk me thru the weekend please.

Its been one day short of exactly one year since the fateful mammo.  I have had lumpectomy, BMX's with immediate implants, TCH, and am still on herceptin and tamoxifin.  I have discovered a lump on the right "breast".  My MO says its probably scar tissue, and its highly unlikely that I would recur now, but wants to have an ultrasound.  I have to wait til Monday!  It seems like ages away.   I thought I was done with this part, that's why I had BMX!!   Arggh!

    Hi, Wendy. I just wanted to let you know that I've had 5 biopsies since my bilateral mastectomies, and they were all scar tissue. Know it is scary, but if your doc thinks it is scar tissue, it mostly likely is. Try not to think about over the weekend. :)

    5 biopsies! wow.    I have started to get in my head that the ultrasound Monday probably won't be the end of it but just the beginning of it again.  Thanks for posting.
