PT needed if no nodes removed and no recon?

Ladies - Thank you for all your help these past couple of months. Next week everything should become clearer as I meet with the PS and BS.  I hope to have my PBM in Feb if possible since our son and daughter in law are moving out of state in early March. I am still wrestling with the no recon issue, but at least I was able to have my husband look at all the recon options, and concede that it is not as easy at the breast surgeon led us to believe,

My daughter is in nursing school and spoke to one of her nursing instructors who said to make sure I tell the BS I need a PT order now, since it takes a while to get the ball rolling on that. If I have a simple mastectomy with no recon, no node removal, and no muscles touched do you think I need the PT order? I have very good upper body strength right now. I do have a book with exercises for the post mastectomy patient.
