Mammograms After Radiation?

I was just wondering what recommendations were made regarding follow-up mammograms after radiation is completed. I finished rads on December 14th. My BS recommended that I get a bilateral mammogram in February because there may still be inflammation from the rads. Is this too soon? I've not had my "good" breast mammo for over a year now.  What has your doctor recommended for you?

My mammogram that discovered BC was in March and six months later, shortly after my radiation tx ended, I had mammograms. For two years i was on an every six months schedule and then switched back to once a year in the third year. That's where I am now. After being watched so closely it has actually made me nervous waiting a full year. I never would have thought I would WANT a mammogram!
