Post radiation under skin itching

My radiation treatments ended about 6 years ago. I still have intense itching under my arm, behind my breast that was radiated. It's not the skin, just under it. Cream does not help - it's not dry skin. The radiation didn't directly treat the area that itches, and I didn't have any problems here during treatment. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas to solve it? I'm supposing that it's just something I've got to learn to live with.
