2012 has been rough so far...

Started the year off in the hospital because of a staph infection which resulted in my port having to be removed. In hospital for 4 days. Wind up with c-dif so had to take a different type of antibiotics which caused a yeast infection. Also wind up with a cold. Oh yeah my mastectomy scar burst open in the middle of the night and I leaked a ton of fluid in the middle of all this crap. Now a major snow storm and no power for two days and expected to be out for a few more days. Thank goodness we have a small generator. Can keep my phone charged and the fridge going. I know on the whole cancer scheme of things this is all minor but I am miserable and going out of my mind! I can't leave and stay at a hotel because I have too many animals to watch over. My husband is working all weekend and he works 12 hour nights. I think im going crazy! Ok I feel a bit netter now after venting. Its too much and it has to stop soon!

I am soooo happy! Our power came on after 4 days without it!!!!! Being without makes you really appreciate when it is back!

Glad to hear your power is back. We had it easy in Anacortes compared to past storms. But I also hope that the rest of 2012 gives you a break and treats you better.

Oh bak94.  So sorry you are dealing with all these issues.  Does sound like 2012 has not started out good for you.  I'm happy to hear you got your power back.  Being an animal lover to a number of pets myself, I know exactly what you must be feeling.  especially with your hubby being away working.  Sending you lots of hugs.
