I just finished this book last night, and I'm having a hard time processing it.  I can't say I'd recommend it to a newly diagnosed young woman.  It has tons of honest and accurate information on the whole breast cancer process, however, it deals with some very difficult issues, that I don't feel I was even ready to deal with two years out.  I can't imagine how this would hit a newly diagnosed woman.

I was trying to figure out who I would recommend this book to, because it is a good read, chalked full of information.  I think I've come to the conclusion that it would be best used to inform and educate young women who have not been diagnosed to impress upon them the importance of breast exams and the seriousness of breast cancer in young women.

I didn't fully understand this when I was young, and I may have went to the doctor sooner if I'd read this book before my diagnosis.

Any thoughts on the book?
