Radiation and Fever

Started radiation, lower back. Been running temp 101 to 102 degrees for a couple of days, Is that normal? I've never experienced radiation before. Doc says no connection. But the docs were wrong about neuropathy in my left foot. Had to stop taxol due to muscle loss (which did return after treatment stopped). Just looking for someone with same or similar experience.
