i am not from the carribean community but i have a very extensive family history of breast, uterine  and pancreatic cancers. even though i am not brca positive my oncologist is pretty sure there are other genes that are involved that are as yet undiscovered and this just corroborates what my doctor feels

I tested negative for BRCA 1&2. I also have an extensive family history of bc and ovarian ca so my genetic material is part of research to find other mutations that make us more vulnerable to bc and ovarian ca. My onc's tx recommendations are the same as those for BRCA+ patients.
