lumpectomy cost

I had my MRI today, and had to pay $300 out of pocket...with insurance. This really makes me wonder how much I will have to pay for the Lumpectomy. I was wondering what any of you had paid, whoever is really to share?

My lumpectomy is scheduled for Friday.  My part for the surgery only is $1028.  $350. of that is the deductible.  I will owe the breast surgeon $220.09 for her part. I owe $500.+ for the BRCA1 test, $250. for the PEM scan, and already paid over $200. for the biopsy. 

I'm worried about the chemo and radiation.  Not sure how much that will cost or where I'll come up with the money.   I'm currently jobless and will quickly go through what's left of my 401K.  But at least I do have insurance.  I'd be interested to hear from those already through with treatment and how they managed to pay for everything.

I had a fairly low out of pocket so I was covered for surgery bill and rads in December. Hospital has been willing to work out a payment plan. Hate to see what 9 days of rads in January will cost me! And it's don't like we know we will finish all of this. It continues year after year with all the follow up cost. Here's hoping we are all have no recurrence, just follow up care.
