We can keep company. My Dx was also in June, and I start rads on Monday.

Great news on the scans!!  I had 35 rad treatments and they were not too bad. I did not feel wiped or tired. Skin got red but never hurt.  After each treatment I put lotion on the area. I used Udderly Smooth, can get at grocery or drug stores.  It is wonderful!!

Good news on the scans!  Yay!  Good luck with rads.  I had 28 and tolerated it well, but everyone is different.  Do encourage your wife to put lotion on right after tx every day and again at night.  They don't want you to do it with about six hours before tx.  Ask what lotion they recommend.  I started it with kerry which they gave me samples of, then switched to Aquaphor which is very greasy when I started to get red.  It's greasy, but it did work, at least for me.  Good luck.  (Make sure she doesn't use something from Bath and Body works or something like that, they have alcohol in it which dries the skin and makes it worse.)

Great news Many.  Hopefully, like most of us here your wife will tolerate rads fairly well.  For me it was a walk in the park after chemo.

    Take care,

    Sharon
