has this been addressed?

as an almost 8 year out RNY patient; i am sposed to eat protein...not sposed to have sugar, fatty foods, starches-white foods-rice potatoes etc

i am looking at chemo then lumpectomy???? just recently dx-haven't seen "the plan" yet!

having just spent two nites reading the chemo boards, i'm looking at options when/if my tastebuds go south

wondering if anyone else on here is in the RNY dietary boat????

thx!

Just noticed your post. My husband had RNY gastric bypass and he STILL stuffs himself with junk carbs and bareyl knows the difference between carb and protein. I'd say don't worry about it during chemo and eat whatever appeals - you won't know that till chemo. I prepared all these little frozen meals for myself and hated them.

I think you need to do what you need to do food wise during chemo and get back on the high-protein low-carb wagon when it's over.
