Scoliosis and Aging Bones!
So who would be happy to hear that? ME that's who! Got the call earlier today that the MRI showed significant scoliosis right where my pain seems to radiate from and general aging of the bones. NO sign of cancer or mets to the spine or surrounding areas!!! SOOO freakin relieved, but still in pain. I had just started PT for my back a couple weeks back so they are going to send the MRI to them to evaluate. Hopefully that will get me in some sort of order.
NOW, I need to get off my ass and start working out again. I had been in such a funk worrying about this that I haven't been in weeks. So hopefully this will give me enough of a kick in the rear ( that and a new therapist) to take what has been given me and just learn to deal with it. Just wish we didn't have to second guess stuff all the time.
A HUGE thank you, my sistahs---your love and support (prayers too!) have helped me through yet another crisis.
Love you all,
Sharon

Wonderful news! I have scoliosis as well. The key to eliminating the pain is to keep your back and ab muscles strong. I have always worked out obsessively due to my scoliosis, and now I have the addition of BC to keep me active. Live Strong!
