Onc tomorrow

Tomorrow I am seeing my Onc for followup.  He's been seeing me every 3 months.  When I saw him in September, I had told him I wanted to go off the Tomoxifen for intoerable SE's.  He gave me a script for Aromisin and told me he wants me to stay on the AI's because I am stage III.  Whatever  I asked him if I could hold off taking it while my knee issues resolve.  He had no problem with it.  So I'm wondering now if I've been off the anti-hormonals too long. I stopped taking them in June.  Really dread going back on them again.

Barb...good luck tomorrow....When I was at the onc last in august, it was just about 1 1/2 years since I quit the AI's and onc would have gladly had me resume them....but when he said 5 more years, I lost any interest in starting again.....I see him again in Feb (will mark 6 years since Dx and almost 2 years off AI's).

How is your knee?

Ugh, too many choices right Barb?  I second guess myself WAY too many times.  Sounds as though your doc has your back though and will support your decision either way.  I have been "lucky" so far with being on Tamoxifen.  Other than sporadic hot flashes and the occassional achy joints (hmm, just remembered my back pain) I've tolerated it OK.

Let us know what they say.

So I had my visit with my onc and he told me to do what I need to do, he doesn't want to fight with me
