Hold Me Up Sistahs
Starting to get nervous for the MRI coming up Tuesday. My initial blood work (including tumor markers) came back normal, but I am still SO worried they are going to find something bad. And yet ANOTHER classmate of mine passed away Friday from BC. She was dx Stage III 15 years ago. Not sure when her recurrence took place as we had just reconnected on FB w/in the past couple years and I knew then it had come back. Just makes it so fresh and unfortunately too similar.
So I ask for your help once again ladies, to help me through this and pray that they are not going to find anything but age related (49) issues or the like. Gotta get through this!
Love,
Sharon

Sharon, It's 11:33 am and I have you in my thoughts. Hoping the scan shows nothing unusual, out of the ordinary, or unexpected.

Pupfoster -- BEST wishes going out to ya ! And when you reply back with clear MRI results, tell me how you were able to convince your onc to do the MRI in the first place? I think it should be standard protocol in the first 5 years after diagnosis, but my onc says it's not. ((((hugs)))) --shelly

Hey pup - I am thinking of you and praying for you - I just went through 2 MRI's on my neck and back and was terrified of finding mets - instead they found a bulge in my neck and a ruptured disc at L5 - not great news but I was sure they would find mets - so hopefully yours will be o.k. too. Please keep us posted on your results!!! Ellie

Thanks girls,
Had the MRI earlier today but probably won't hear anything for a day or two. Thanks Ellie for sharing your experience (and everyone else's support:). I just can't put my finger on what else it could be. So weird. Here's hoping and praying it's something manageable.
Love you all,
Sharon
