My HMO, Kaiser in Northern California, wants you to see a clinician before a mamo if there is any irregularity in your breast. I had a recurrence in my tram flap last year that was removed surgically. I was put on Aromasin and told I was cured. Tomorrow, I am getting a second exam because they cannot tell if I have extensive scar tissue or lumps in the same general area of my recurrence. Here is my question: my armpit is mostly hard and lumpy and fairly sore. At times is just plain hurts. Should this be a worry or could it be more scar tissue. What does a enlarged node feel like? The lumps removed last year were on the edge of the tram near the armpit. During my orig dx in 2001, 7 nodes were removed. Thanks ladies!
