    Hello all.

I am a 25 year old female with size 38DD breasts. I don't know if I have a heightened awareness of my body and these things have always been this way, or if they have developed in the past few months.

I recently noticed that the veins in my breasts were very noticable. On top of that, I noticed what looked like pink spots (not in a specific shape) more like when youre hand gets so cold it turns splotchy, one the sides, tops of my breasts. I also noticed what looked like pores or hair follicles, which this goes up my chest. Every once in a while my right breast feels warm.

I was on birth control for probably a total of three years. STopping and starting, quite a bit, I messed up pills, would be on it for 9 months at a time then stop. I have been off birth control for now 2 months and don't plan on goign back on it. Birth control always made my breasts swell. I also gained about 13 pounds.

I guess I just have all of these panicing and worrying thoughts that I have IBC. I know every womans sypmtoms are different. Could the redness spots just be from wearing the incorrect bra size? It does feel pretty tight. I'm not trying to be a screw over, I am pretty worried but don't know if I should just buy some new bras and wait a few weeks or so to see if that helps or get to the doctor RIGHT now.

I saw some photos of pteu d'orange (can't spell! sorry) and paniced. When I asked my sister if she had tose tiny dots on her breasts she said yes and that they were just pores or hair follicles. My best friend said the same thing. Then I saw a photo simiilar to mine on another forum and started to panic.

Are there red spots on both sides and do they come and go?  Is the breast with red spots significantly larger than the other (swelled)?  I also had itching as well as all the symptoms of ibc.

If it gets worse, get it checked. I had to wait about 4 weeks before being seen and the symptoms did not go away.

    Terri
