Encapsulation

After my 2nd round of BC 3 years ago, I had a double masectomy and reconstruction.  Everything was great until pain last week.  Was told that my right side is encapsulated and I will need surgery.  Question:  What can I expect?  I have silicone with texture which is suppose to be less likely for this to happen, but..   Has anyone gone through this and have any advice?

Hi Cindy, this section is for women who did not get reconstruction.Although there are some women who have had to get their reconstrction undone and post here, you may find more repsonses in the forum for women who had reconstruction.

I hope you find someone that went thru what you are going thru. So sorry for the troubles you have.
