Funny Pet Pictures!!!!
I haven't looked through ALL of the topics as there are so many........but I haven't seen one devoted to our animal family members.........I know how precious & special my boys are to me. I thought it would be fun to post pics of our "fur-children"!!!! I had a Boxer for 7 1/2 years......his name was Sir Lancelot.........aka........"Pookie-Bear".......he was my bestest friend......he was also epileptic......he was only 7 & 1/2 years old when he had his last seizure........it was a seizure that would not stop no matter what we or our vet did to try and help ..........we eventually had to help him over the Rainbow Bridge.........:(
I still miss him so very much........I SWORE I would NEVER have another dog! HA! I am now Mommie to two Boston Terrier brothers who just turned a year old this November 22nd.......they help heal my heart, keep me very busy....and make me laugh
A friend sent this poem to me when I lost my sweet Lance and was feeling so much guilt after getting my boys:
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.
Here are some fun pictures of Lance.......and then of my new boys........Louie & Leonardo.......(Yes I have a thing for L-names for dogs)..........Hmmmm will put pics of boys in next post...not working in here

Sir Lancelot was gorgeous! You really captured the expressions of your pets in your drawings! They are really good! I haven't posted a picture on here yet, if I figure it out I will post some funny photos.

Absolutely precious! My two rescue puppies (aka Mutts) keep me well entertained and distracted during my recovery. They will bring smiles to you in your darkest moments... Looks like yours are as spoiled rotten as mine.. lol

My Tinkerbell is so ugly she's cute! know what I mean? This pic of her always makes me think she asking:
"Does my butt look big in this fur?"
Druanne, your fur babies are gorgeous! You are a talented artist as well as you have captured them perfectly which is not easy to do.

chrissyb Ironically, I did this piece for a woman whose mother had breast cancer.....I have never met them in person.........and knowing nothing about breast cancer thought to myself......oh I better finish this ASAP for I don't know how long she has left......and I now I have breast cancer......and I have found out it is NOT a death sentence......& there are so many wonderful, brave and strong women here fighting and living!!!
This drawing was done from a photo of a her horse named Destiny and their granddaughter......she asked me to make it fantasy..........so I did
This was a couple years ago........maybe she belongs to this forum!! Wouldn't that be WEIRD!!!!

This was my rescue Boxer "Landeau"...(and me 20lbs HEAVIER!!!).....he was so fugly.......and so adorable at the same time
......he was abused as a puppy.......so I took him in......his hip had been stomped on and remained disconnected his entire life.......went to have it fixed when I first got him but it was already too late, the bone had deteriorated because of loss of blood flow......only having 3 strong legs never slowed him down and he even earned the nick name "Tigger".........cuz he ran and bounced around like one! Or "Landeau-mando-rubberbando" because he was so skinny and bendy.......he could bend almost in half!! LOL I am not very happy with the drawing I did of him..it is old.....I shall have to do another someday......he got very ill and went over the bridge on the SAME DAY Lance did 3 years prior!!!
-

I don't ride her much anymore
........not much time lately......but she lives on my property with her two "mini-yuns" (Mini horses) Mocha Latte & Party Boy
This picture was taken when I used to board her a few years back........
