I need some picture ideas

Happy Holidays to my online breast cancer family !  I have waited till the last minute, but want to take some kind of picture to send to family and friends celebrating my successful completion of treatment and surgeries.  I haven't come up with an idea that I love just yet, and thought I would reach out to see if you all had any suggestions.  I thought about getting a picture with santa, or the family getting our tree this sunday,  but just want to do something positive and cute, or humorous.  Any suggestions and ideas are welcome!  Thanks  Lynne

All during my chemo, when I was bald as a billiard ball, I wore a different costume wig to treatment. One day I was the Wendy's pigtails, another day I was a Geisha girl....another day I wore a B-52s bee hive....the next day it was a pink bob...on and on.

It lightened everyone elses's mood.....and made it okay.  Find something really creative, like a tin foil wig, make yourself into a christmas tree complete with color wheel.'

My point is that even though you're not at your best..........people will see you STILL have your spirit and it'll make it okay

ebay has GREAT costume wigs....also, all my friends sent me wigs during treatment.  They're awesome.

Vivirasselena,  Thanks for the idea,  I love your profile picture,  I am glad you are doing well,  Emory is a wonderful hospital.  We are going to a tree farm sunday to pick out a tree,  so maybe a tree costume among the trees would be really cute!  I will send you a pic if it comes out good.  Thanks again for the response

For the last few years are cards have had two pictures - one nicely posed family picture then one crazy picture - kids upside down, strangling each other with neck ties, tongues out, etc.  We started it because the kids were restless one year taking pics so I said if they were good we could do a crazy one - and a tradition was made.  NOw everyone looks more forward to the crazy picture than the good one!

Thanks,  that is a nice crazy tradition idea.  I am really not so afraid to try new traditions now.  BC has made me realize that just because we always did something one way doesnt mean we have to continue doing it.  I got a few pics, but still havent figured out how to make the card and write some funny things on it.  Maybe tonight I will.  I am going to change my BCO profile pic to the tree pic.  Look at my profile next time you are on.  Happy holidays!
