Haven't had surgery yet, but I'm hoping to be able to get back to my fave workouts afterward. Is it do-able? Thank you!

As long as it is done once your doctor believes you are fully recovered enough, absolutely! Individuals may vary, but in principle there are no restrictions on exercise because of a BMX and reconstruction with implants. It feels weird sometimes, but you get used to it. Push-ups definitely felt strange for me at first, but now, many push-ups later, my implants are fine.

But as I said, each case varies.

I have one of her dvds and I am close to two weeks out and I cringe even thinking about doing it. I guess it depends what shape you were in before surgery but I used to go to the gum and lift heavy weights and now the thought of following her dvd gives me spasms ;) Maybe after a year? If everything is healed and dr gives ok for it.

Thank you ladies! I had just finished working out to Jillian and burst into tears thinking that post surgery, I may not be able to do this any more. It's great to know it's possible. Good luck healing!
