Pain on breast/in node area

I am certain I'm over-reacting - the "hurry up and wait" is taking a toll on my patience.  But I was hoping someone here might be able to give me a clue, one way or another.

I had my incisional biopsy 10 days ago, removing a 1.7 x 1.3 cm lump from the right side of my left breast (toward the midline).  I'm going in on Monday for a lumpectomy and SNB.  A few days ago I started having pain over the top of my breast near my shoulder area, down under my armpit, and down the left side of my chest.  It's not sharp pain, rather it feels tender, if that makes sense.  At first I thought it might have been in reaction to the biopsy, but now (of course!) I'm worried it's something else.  I cannot feel anything "hard" in the area.

I guess my question is, has anyone else with lymph node involvement ever had pain or tenderness?  Or has my imagination completely taken over?
