Just got all the answers..high Ki, help..

I was at the hospital today and got the path report on my tumor. Had 7 out of 13 nodes positive. Er and pr -. Her2 was 3+ and was inconclusive. They had to do the fish test. The tumor was Medullary carcinoma witch is normally a trippel negative cancer. It is a subtype out of IDC and very rare.



Now I need help with the Ki number witch was 84!!! I understand this is high but what is it? Is it the speed of the cell growth? I have not spoken to an onc only to the surgeon.



Is there anyone else here with medullary carcinoma?

I dont have medullary carninoma, but the KI67 has something to do with the rate the cells multiply.  Mine was high too, but thats not such a bad thing, as chemo seems to kill the fast muliplying cells better.  I had chemo first and no cancer at surgery.
