Fatigue & Radiation

I finished rads 2 days b4 Thanksgiving.  I am so exhausted!  It is worse now than it was during treatments.  Also, I caught a cold and I just feel drained.  I have been on the couch all day today.

How about the rest of you?  Any one else feel this way?  How long did it last?  I know I should exercise. I have  been on my treadmill several days, but it doesn't seem to help.  Expecially now with my nose  so plugged up. 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

rest if you need to.  I was tired for about 1 mo. after rads.  Your body was at war, you need to recover.  Good luck

I finished my rads the Friday before Xmas in 2008

tired does not begin to discribe how I felt, note, I worked all during rads and am 62 years old.

I slept the week of Xmas and it did take a few months really till I felt not tired but it did get better.

by the way, we seem to have been similar at the start, naps are your friend!

I eased back into my gym routine and actually, signed up with a trainer at my gym and think he helped me to stay motivated to work out
