I mentioned this on another thread, but thought it deserved it's own voice. Pharmacists getting cancer from dispensing chemo drugs. 

It was interesting, researching this topic. On MSNBC, on 7/11/2010 the headline read, "Lifesaving cancer drugs may put workers' lives at risk."

And on naturalnews.com, on 7/13/2010 the headline read, "Pharmacists give themselves cancer from dispensing toxic chemotherapy chemicals."

If you just read the headlines, what is the carry-away story? MSNBC is talking about "life saving cancer drugs" and naturalnews.com is talking about "pharmacists give themselves cancer from dispensing toxic chemotherapy."

If you read the stories, not too different. So, the answer is, you have to go beyond "the headlines."  

My point in this post? We all have to go way beyond the headlines. And way beyond what our "doctors" or the Main Stream Media are telling us.  

We have way more information, now. And we have to read it, and make decisions for ourselves.

What happened to me with my 5/2006 2cm IDC diagnosis, it caught me, blind. I was deer in the headlights. I would do anything they said. First off, the lumpectomy. They cut out my 2cm IDC with huge margins Yet, for me, that surgery resulted in this GROSS hematoma. My entire breast was a bruise, it went down my back, I was a mess. And what that resulted in was a delayed, "automatic" whole breast radiation. Delayed, for months.

And in those months, I looked for information, and found it. And ultimately chose NOT to do the whole breast radiation or the Tamoxifen.

I read beyond the headlines.  

And sadly, it took me three years later before I got on the FOCC and the D3. But by now, I feel so great, I can't even remember how badly I felt before.

To you women on this Alternative thread looking for Alternative remedies, they are all here. Again, mine is the FOCC and the D3 but other women have other alternative remedies that have totally worked for them. And so evaluate those, as well. And choose what is right, for you.

And the women who read this thread and choose chemo and other Medical Industrial Complex therapies, that is great, for you. You are choosing what is right, for you.

On this thread, I'm just explaining an alternative to the MIC that has been so right, for me.  At the end of the day, we all make our own choices.

Thank you for starting this thread.  I have a surgery coming up on Dec 12 on a 0.8 cm tumor.  My BS is only taking the sentinel node for testing, and even if it is clear, he still wants me to do radiation.  I don't agree because in my research, the studies show that women over 70 do not benefit from radiation or chemo.

I'm on D-3 and have successfully raised my levels from 27 to 57, but what is FOCC?

Kaara, FOCC stands for Flax Seed Oil Cottage Cheese. The recipe was created by Joanna Budgwig. It was mentioned on the Early Stage Natural Girls Thread a while ago. I re-posted information about it there for you. The Gerson Therapy Protocol uses it too. Apparently, many cancer patients have had success using it. I think you should remind your onc that radiation causes cancer.  Instead of believing all the BS (Bad Science) he was brainwashed to believe in medical school, he should learn to think for himself and stay up to date, and then come back and give you advice.

Agree on the headlines, and I apply that rule when reading about anything in the news these days.... from business news, medical news, political news, etc. I have worked 20 years in marketing/pr and I understand how easy it is to "position" something in a way that benefits a corporation, a political party, an issue, etc.....  I wish everyone had the cynicism I have while reading, because there would be a bigger push for change of regulations, rules, etc. in this country if that were the case......
