Were any of you sent to a dermatologist by a breast cancer surgeon? I went and saw the Breast Cancer Surgeon, She looked at my breasts and said You are not dealing with IBC. I have a red rash that hasn't gotten better with creams for 12 days, but she said I've had 2 other rashes on my breasts, both breasts and they did get better.

She said regardless she was 99.9% sure I do not have IBC. She wouldn't do a biopsy on me, she said see a dermatologist and if they feel the need they will. I said please do a biopsy I want to know what this is, and she refused.

So I'm going to a dermatologist tomorrow, please continue to pray that they figure out what is causing the breast rashes and that it's still not IBC.

Love to all <3 Praying for you all too <3

Hi MelissaAnn.  That is good that your sugeon thinks the rash might be dermatological.  99.9% sure is pretty good.  But I agree with Nancy to raise your voice if you still feel you would like a biopsy to be 100% sure.  I continue to pray for you.  Shaah

I just saw the dermatologist this morning. She doesn't think it's breast cancer either and she said she's seen IBC and She's seen rashes from metestic breast cancer too. She thinks it's some sort of Eczema. From what I have no idea! I mentioned to her that I notice the rashes around ovulation and then they start getting better once I start my period. I started Monday and this one is already looks a ton better! She said she never heard of rashes related to hormones, but I could see my primary doc and have her do a hormone panel.

She wouldn't do a biopsy, she said she didn't want to give me a breast scar! As if stretch marks from having kids, isn't any worse? lol She prescribed a cream and wants me to use it twice daily. If anymore rashes appear, Im to use the cream for a few days, if it doesnt go away I have to wait 7 days and then go in for a biopsy. She also told me to stop taking my B vitamins and Co-Q10 vitamin.

I return to see the breast surgeon Dec 6th, I'm sure she wants to check and see it it's gone and what not. I'm praying it is! and I pray they never come back!!! Anywhere else on my body I wouldn't care, but the breast scares me!!

Thank you all for the advice and prayers this week. You are all in my prayers as well.

    Hugs,

    MelissaAnn

You know I took pictures of the rash, It looks lighter but Bigger!

I sure hope these two doctors are right because they both refused to do a biopsy on me!!

Can you have IBC with just a rash and no other symptoms for this long?
