breast size increase

I was DX with stage III breast cancer w/node involvement in Jan 2010.  Double mastecomy w/immediate reconstruction in March, followed with implant placement in October and finally nipple construction in December.  I had my check up in June 2011 with a bone and CT scan found two objects on my ovary but nothing that concerned the dr.  For the past several weeks I have noticed that my left breast (original location of BC)has been increasing in size and now is very obviously larger than the right.  I have also been feeling discomfort on the lines of a pressure feeling inbetween my breasts with tenderness when the area is pressed.  I have also been gettting discomfort in my armpit spreading in towards my chest bone.  Sometimes sharp other times just a dull ache.  Can anyone relate?  I have no idea what is normal anymore and I hate being a nerveous nelly.  I have my next six month check up in December and just wondering if I should call doctor before then or not.  Thanks for any insight.

Any rash, thickened skin, nipple flattening or inverted, or peau d'orange?  Is the breast hot?

Lisa, I have had a lot of tenderness under my armpits and under the breasts as well, 1 year 5 months after surgery.  Just recently I posted my concerns and got response which seems to match with what is going on with me. Lympherderma, seems like swollen lymph nodes which when massaged gets better.  It seems as if the liquid (from the removed lymph nodes) moves in these areas and when not moved, it becomes really tender in those particular areas.  I tried massaging and the pain kinda went away.  Also, after surgery the breast tissue does try to grow back as has been my experience.  I have a deep dimple in mine due to an infection after surgery, and I can see how the tissues really grew, almost pushing to fill in the dimple.
