3 year onc visit

had a successful visit with onc at the 3 year mark..... 

mammogram clear (although I have very little faith in that technology, I still have one annually-- it can pick up other things).

We agreed that next summer I can take a short break from lupron/femara to see if I am in menopause.... talked about the AI studies that show being on them longer might be beneficial--she has not seen anything that convinces her yet--- ok with me because I would like to get off them asap!!!!

 

So, good results all around.... feels more and more just like a memory to me.....

Congratulations!  I hit my three mark too. Well 3 year's since I received the news. 11/14/2008-wow what a awful day for me.  I have my mammo December.  My onc thinks the switch for me will be in July.  He ran a test to see if I am in menopause.  I am right there! Knocking on menopause door.  I wish you continuous luck in your health!

Just had surgery 11/22. Will find out about treatment 12/16. Happy and hopeful to hear that there is a time when all this will be just a memory to me also.
