Question

edited June 2014 in ILC (Invasive Lobular Carcinoma)

I had 2 tumors removed from my right breast.  One of the tumors is IDC.  In regards to the other tumor is my question, The Onc said it began in the lobe and is now invasive.  Does that equate to ILC?  He has sent it for further testing to determine treatment.

    Yes, it sounds like ILC. Get a copy of your pathology report if you don't already have it. There will be more useful information in the report. Some of this may also come from the further testing. There is information on this site about how to interpret your pathology report, and about the different types of BC.
