How long will the fatigue be gone

Hi.

I finished the RT a month ago, but the fatigue is still bothering me. My energy lever is not even as good as when I was doing the chemo. I know the SE could be accumulated, but... I am not sure if the fatigue was newly developed which is not good. Any idea how long it will take for the fatigue to be gone?

Also, it is still peeling on my radiated site, was that common? My follow up with RO will be in 2 weeks, so I just come here to see if anyone has same experience.

Thanks a lot.

Sorry you feel fatigued.  I wish I could say you will feel like yourself soon, but more often than not, it can take months, many months or perhaps longer to have your pre diagnosis energy.  I know it is frustrating.  Perhaps you can take short walks during the day and stay hydrated.  I know that helped me.  Good luck to you.

I finished radiation nearly 15 months ago (no chemo), and my energy level has only recently started to return to normal.

I agree, it took a least a year to begin to return to normal.  I still don't have the energy that I used to have. NJ

great (note sarcasm!)! I finished rads on Oct 11. I am more tired now than when I was going to treatments every day. The fatigue almost reminds me of how I felt in early pregnancy ( and no I am NOT pg!! LOL!). Just overwhleming fatigue....to the point that I am tired at just thinking about doing anything. I am ready for bed at 7:30-8:00 at night, fight it until about 9:30 and am usually asleep by 10. I wake up around 7 and am STILL tired. I have a family and cannot be laying around for another year. Nothing gets done. LOL! Not to mention I will not be able to fit through the door if I just lay around all day. LOL!
